Its beginnings go back to the first half of the 20th century, with Mr. Álvaro Branco that, coming back from the United States, purchases a land in front of the Palace Hotel and there builds up is residence, a Chalet where he starts to welcome people who pass through Vidago searching for such prestigious medicinal waters. It’s clients pay the overnight stays and bring their own ingredients to cook all meals, a peculiar commercial relationship that ends up in strong friendship bonds, almost familiar bonds.

In 1973, Mr. Antero Magalhães Rodrigues bets on the facilities enhancement and proceeds to the augmentation of the former residence of its father in-law, Álvaro Branco. At the same time, without giving up of the sympathy and proximity with clients, he chooses for a professional approach to its business. With the opening of the Primavera Hostel, he starts to enlarge the facilities over the years, building up more rooms, a bar and the expansion of event spaces, betting on quality service, with conditions adapted to the demanding of that period, offering a wide range of services on its activity.

In October 2012, with the purpose of serving better its customers, following the ideas of its founder, Primavera Hostel closes up to start a profound restructuration.

In December 2011, the Primavera Perfume Hotel is created from an embracing and consolidated project, inspired on its surroundings, where the water element the nature and its aromas are the theme. A place where elegance and well being are elevated with a perfumed aroma that awakes the senses.
